“SOW TO GROW” is ROHA’s October campaign dedicated to restoring lives one act of kindness at a time. As the seasons change and communities prepare for colder months, we want to ensure that Atlanta’s unhoused population is not left behind. This campaign will gather critical resources—food, clothing, hygiene items, and funds—while also cultivating volunteerism and awareness.

​campaign purpose:

This isn’t just another campaign — it’s a movement of compassion.
It’s a chance to finish the year strong, sowing generosity that grows beyond the holidays and deep into the hearts of those we serve.

Through this campaign, we aim to generate: 
​
  • $70,000 in critical funding for our hub programs, tools and resources.
  • Collect 1,000+ warm clothing items (coats, sweaters, gloves, socks, blankets).
  • Distribute 1,000 meals through our Feed the Hungry initiative.
  • Engage 100 volunteers through community events and service opportunities. ​Grow awareness reaching 50,000 people through social media and local partnerships.
  • Gain 60+ clients in housing

HOW TO CONTRIBUTE TO CAMPAIGN:

Monetary Donations
  • One-Time Giving: Any amount helps us fund meals, clothing, housing tools, and hub programs.
  • Monthly Giving: Join as a recurring donor to create ongoing impact beyond September.
  • Donation Incentives:
    •  Every contribution is spotlighted on our  “Wall of Hope” 
Clothing Donations
  • Donate gently worn men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing.
  • New undergarments socks and men's clothing are highly needed.
  • Drop-off at ROHA Clothing Closet (or schedule a pick-up).
  • Every bag of clothing donated = one step closer to restoring dignity and hope.
Merchandise Sales
  • Shop exclusive ROHA merch (tees, hoodies, accessories).
  • Every purchase directly funds meals, clothing, and housing support.
  • Bonus: All merch buyers are automatically entered into the September raffle!
Volunteerism
  • Serve at our Feed the Hungry events.
  • Assist with clothing closet sorting and distribution.
  • Support ROHA events throughout September.
