Restoring One’s Hope of Atlanta, Inc. (ROHA) hosts Monthly Community Fairs on the last Saturday of each month to serve our unhoused and underserved neighbors with dignity, compassion, and consistency.
These fairs are a cornerstone of our mission to restore hope and transform lives one at a time. Through these events, we provide essential resources such as food, clothing, hygiene items, life-skills support, referrals, and a strong sense of community. Our fairs also serve as a welcoming space where individuals feel seen, supported, and valued.
By volunteering, you are directly helping us create a safe, organized, and uplifting experience for our guests while strengthening community connections across Atlanta.
Volunteer Roles & What to Expect
Volunteers are essential to the success of our community fairs. Roles may include (but are not limited to):

8:00 AM Shift
Early Bird Volunteer | 8:00 am - 10:00 am - Set Up - Guest check in and crowd flow support - Clothing and hygiene station assistance

10:00 AM Shift
Morning Volunteer | 10:00 am - 12:00 pm - Guest check in and crowd flow support - Clothing and hygiene station assistance - Vendors station assistance - Haircuts Station Assistance - Games & engagement assistance - Overall hospitality, and general assistance

12:00 PM Shift
Afternoon Volunteer | 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm - Guest check out and crowd flow support - Remove Decorations, table wear and tents if outdoor - Clear Personal Items: Remove all vendor equipment, personal belongings, and leftovers. - Trash Management: Empty all trash cans, replace liners. - Break Down Items: Break down any boxes and stack tables/chairs as instructed.
