Restoring One’s Hope of Atlanta, Inc. (ROHA) hosts Weekly Feed The Hungry Distribution every Saturday to serve our unhoused and underserved neighbors with dignity, compassion, and consistency.

About This Event

We prepare and distribute care packages to the unhoused population on the weekend. We recommend that you wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Through these events, we prepare and distribute care packages with essential resources such as food, snacks, hygiene items, and a strong sense of community. By volunteering you are directly making impact in YOUR building community. Let's Build Together!

Volunteer Roles & What to Expect

Volunteers are essential to the success of our community service. Roles may include (but are not limited to):

• Event setup and breakdown

• Food and supply: making sandwiches, packing snack bags, and hygiene kits.

• Food and supply distribution

• Sort incoming clothing donations

• Assist in product organization

What to Bring

Please come prepared to ensure a smooth and comfortable volunteer experience:

• Comfortable clothing you can move around in

• Closed-toe shoes (required for safety)

• Weather-appropriate attire (events are partially outdoors)

• Refillable water bottle

• Positive attitude and readiness to serve

Arrival Time & Check-In

• Volunteer Arrival Time: 30 Minutes before service

• Please allow extra time for parking and walking to the building

• Volunteers will check in upon arrival and receive instructions and assignments

Punctuality is extremely important, as packing begins immediately at 10:00AM.

Community Center Address (BRINGS YOU TO THE FRONT): 18 William(s) Holmes Borders Sr Dr, Atlanta, GA 30312

➡️ The parking lot is located behind the ROHA building and is secured by a brick wall and silver gated fence.

➡️ Once parked, follow signage or staff directions to enter the side of the community center.

Note:

We collect gently worn clothes, shoes, pajamas, scarves, hats, and undergarments for our clothing closet. If you would like to donate any of these items, please feel free to bring them with you.
